Ghorepani Poon Hill - Chitwan Trekking Itinerary : Day 01 : Arrival to Kathmandu- transfer to Hotel Over night at Hotel. Day 02 : Full day sight-seeing Soyambunath, Patan city and Durbar Square. Day 03 : We begin by transferring to the airport for our 10.15 am flight to Pokhara. On arrival we'll meet our trek staff and about 20 minuets drive to Phedhi begin our trek. This morning, we receive our introduction to "Ukalo" Nepal for uphill. Several hours of climbing bring us to our lunch spot at Dhumpus. After lunch, several more hours of gradual uphill bring us to tonight's camp at Potana, an idyllic campsite with superb views of Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchare, and Annapurna II and iv. Day 04 : To day will be the longest day of the early trek- seven hours to reach Ghandrung, one of the largest Gurung villages in the area. The trail takes us through several other Gurung villages and some beautiful forests, with good views throughout. Day 06 : We trek to Ghorepani. The afternoon is free to relax, or make the optional hike up poon hill for the classic view of Dhaulagiri. After so many days in untouched Nepal, our re-entry into the heavily trekked areas makes us aware of the changes that have taken place both in our own view of Nepal and in Nepal itself. Day 07 : There will not be a single uphill step today, as we descend all is gradual and easy, the descent from Ulleri to Tirkhedunga is memorable, a stone staircase built into the side of mountain that seems to have been constructed for giants. Day 08 : Trek to Bhirethanti drive to Pokhara Camp at Phewa LakeDay 09 Drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park, pick up from Chitresari and transfer to Wildlife Resort. Day 10 : Full day wildlife activities such as Elephant back safari, Jungle walk, Canoeing, Bird watching, Culture program etc. Day 11 : After all jungle safari activities drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
